We are thrilled to announce that our very own Program Director and Head Coach, Irving Eggleston Jr., has been named the 2024 AAU Coach of the Year, an honor that recognizes his incredible dedication, leadership, and success throughout the season. Coach Eggleston’s commitment to excellence and player development has solidified his reputation as one of the top coaches in youth basketball.
A Season of Dominance: 9th Grade Team Highlights
Under Coach Eggleston’s guidance, the 9th Grade team had an unforgettable season, securing 4 championships and reaching 4 championship appearances, including their first-ever Vertical Hoops Championship.

The 10th Grade team also had a stellar season, earning 2 championships, 2 championship appearances, and 1 semifinal finish.

The Varsity team, under Coach Eggleston’s leadership, also enjoyed a strong season, highlighted by:

Coach Eggleston’s ability to lead multiple teams to championship contention year after year is a testament to his basketball IQ, strategic vision, and dedication to his athletes. BNL Elite Boys AAU Program
BNL Elite Boys AAU program is directed by Former Professional and DIII All American Irving Eggleston Jr. Coach Eggleston is the currently an Assistant MBB Coach at Rhode Island College.
BNL Elite Boys Tryouts
Fall 2024 BNL Elite Boys Tryouts will be held at Providence Country Day School from 6pm-9pm on August 18th, 2024.
BNL Elite Girls AAU Program
BNL Elite Girls Program is co-directed by former Division I Assistant and current Johnson and Wales University WBB Head Coach Dino Porcic, and Kaylin Reen Assistant Coach Babson University WBB. Coach Reen has exploded onto the college scene and in a short period of time has proved to be one of the most electric young coaches in the NCAA.
BNL Elite Girls Tryouts
Spring 2025 BNL Elite Girls Tryouts will be held November 24th at Providence Country Day School, East Providence, RI from 4pm-5:30pm.
What Tournaments Does BNL Elite Compete In?
BNL Elite competes in Zero Gravity Tournaments throughout New England. Based on the competition level of the team, travel tournaments outside of New England may be added. (States Traveled: MA, CT, RI, NY, NJ)
Who Are The Coaches?
BNL Elite has assembled one of the best coaching staffs in New England. All of our coaches are former collegiate athletes or current college coaches. Our coaches have experience working with NBA, WNBA, Overseas Professionals and college athletes from NCAA Division I - Division III.
Season Length/ Practice Locations?
BNL Elite Fall and Spring/Summer AAU season will last 6 weeks or more depending on the level of the team. Practices are held at Providence Country Day School in East Providence Rhode Island, and Norwood Massachusetts.
